Direct access to the market

About the platform

Servicetrade is a platform for employed, self-employed, and part-time workers. The idea is straightforward: turn the chaos of personal admin and income-hunting into a single, simple tool. You manage your time. The platform gives you direct access to real market opportunities — no bureaucracy, no intermediaries.

The backbone of the project is a task tracker and a live Discord community. Built for people in their twenties and beyond who want to grow — in their careers or their own ventures — without waiting on luck.

The only thing that works better than our community and costs less than our tracker is a well-connected relative with a senior title or a government contract. Since most people don't have that, we built Servicetrade. We replace connections with direct contact: find work or a client yourself, without agents or commissions. Your time, your skills, your money — your call.

The problems we solve in the UK market

01 — Extortionate platform fees For users: direct contact, no middlemen. Your earnings stay with you. For the market: we remove artificial barriers, accelerating the flow of money through the real service economy and stimulating local trade.

02 — Toxic and slow hiring For users: the Offerland community filters out fake listings and scams, shortening the path from search to offer. For the market: we reduce the transaction costs of hiring by creating a pool of verified, motivated candidates — critical at a time when traditional recruitment is stagnating.

03 — Unstable self-employed income For users: five tools inside the task tracker to close income gaps and avoid undercutting your own rates. For the market: we turn vulnerable freelancers into resilient micro-businesses, easing pressure on social systems during economic downturns.

04 — AI disruption and redundancies For users: turn redundancy into an opportunity — step onto the tracks of full or part-time self-employment. For the market: we don't fight AI — we give people the tools to adapt. It's not AI reshaping the labour market; it's people using AI to rewrite the rules of that market on their own terms.

05 — Professional isolation and fragmented tools For users: stop jumping between LinkedIn, freelance marketplaces, and messaging apps. We give you one space — a task tracker and a live community where people already know you, recommend you, and won't let you disappear into the silence. For the market and grant bodies: we address professional isolation and accelerate economic integration, turning scattered individuals into a tight-knit, self-organising ecosystem with a low barrier to entry.

The task tracker

Servicetrade is, at its core, a bulletproof vest against the surprises your employer or the system can throw at you. Here's what's inside:

Agenda & GTD — manage your workload and free time using an Agenda view and a Getting Things Done approach.

Task publishing — buy back your own time by delegating and publishing tasks publicly. Especially useful for those just starting a business.

Touchpoint — self-reflection tools to help you make decisions on your own terms, not under someone else's influence. Clarifies what you want and what you're working towards.

Contact management — organise your professional contacts to help win new clients and improve the quality of your service.

Pomodoro timer — stay focused and work with intention, not just effort.

TimeSlot / Booking — turn your availability into a structured booking system: a reliable process, not a string of back-and-forth messages.
